Ohio Congressional Districts

Virginia is currently divided into 11 congressional districts, each represented by a member of the United States House of Representatives.

The 2018 U.S. House of Representatives elections in Virginia will take place on November 6, 2018. Voters will elect 11 candidates to serve in the U.S. House, one from each of the state's 11 congressional districts.

Steve Chabot

Current Position: US Representative

Congressman Steve Chabot has proudly served Ohio’s First Congressional District for 20 years. A lifelong Cincinnatian, Steve previously served as a Cincinnati City Councilman and Hamilton County Commissioner for five years each prior to being elected to Congress in 1994.

While in Congress, Steve has also helped lead efforts to reduce the regulatory burden on America’s small businesses, and to combat the opioid epidemic. He is an outspoken defender of the rights of the unborn, most importantly having authored the ban on the practice of partial-birth abortions.

Brad Wenstrup

Dr. Brad Wenstrup’s life has centered on hard work, service, and sacrifice. As a doctor, combat surgeon and small business owner, Brad has a deep understanding of the issues facing America.

After graduating from the University of Cincinnati and going on to earn a medical degree in podiatric medicine and surgery, Brad established a private practice in Cincinnati and has treated patients in Southwest Ohio for over 26 years. In 1998, seeing signs of freedom being threatened, Brad accepted an officer’s commission with the U.S. Army Reserve, serving in the Medical Service Corps.

Joyce Beatty

Congresswoman Joyce Beatty is a native Ohioan with a strong history of connecting people, policy and politics to make a difference. Since 2013, Beatty has proudly represented Ohio’s Third Congressional District.

Prior to her service in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congresswoman Beatty was Senior Vice President of Outreach and Engagement at The Ohio State University and a member in the Ohio House of Representatives for five terms. During her tenure in the Ohio House, she rose to become the first female Democratic House Leader in Ohio’s history and was instrumental in spearheading and enacting pieces of legislation to require financial literacy in Ohio’s public school curriculum, to expand STEM education, and to secure funds to help under- and uninsured women access breast and cervical cancer treatment.

Jim Jordan

Jordan is a fiscal conservative who believes that families and taxpayers, rather than government, know best how to make decisions with their money. Throughout his career, Jim Jordan has led the fight against tax hikes, including those proposed by his own political party. He believes that cutting taxes and letting families keep more of what they earn helps build strong communities and a vibrant economy.

Bob Latta

Congressman Bob Latta represents Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District and is currently serving his sixth term in the United States House of Representatives.

As Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection, and as a member of the Committee’s Subcommittees on Energy, Communications and Technology, and Health, Bob oversees a variety of issues, including energy, telecommunications, food and drug safety, health care, and interstate and foreign commerce. He also serves as Deputy Whip, Co-Chairman of the Rural Broadband Caucus, and is a past Co-Chairman of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus.

Bob Gibbs

Congressman Gibbs sits on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. Gibbs was chosen to chair the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, a subcommittee of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee that conducts oversight of the federal regulation of clean water, from 2011 until 2017. He is currently Ranking Member of the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee.

Michael Turner

Congresswoman Fudge serves on the Committee on House Administration, House Committee on Agriculture and House Committee on Education and Labor.  She is the Chair of the Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Elections and Chair of the Committee on Agriculture Subcommittee on Nutrition, Oversight and Department Operations.  She serves on the Subcommittees on Conservation and Forestry (Agriculture), Civil Rights and Human Services (Education & Labor) and Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions (Education & Labor).

Troy Balderson

Tim Ryan

David Joyce

A lifelong Ohioan, Dave has dedicated his life to family and community. Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1957, Dave’s father, a WWII veteran, was a salesman and mother a proud housewife. Dave had three siblings and grew up playing all sports. Dave graduated from West Geauga High School and went on to receive his BA in Accounting, and Juris Doctorate, from The University of Dayton. Upon graduation, he moved back to Cuyahoga County and worked as a public defender.

In November 2012, Dave was elected to represent the 14th District of Ohio for the 113th Congress. This Congress, the 116th, is his fourth term in office. Dave serves on the influential House Committee on Appropriations, which is responsible for scrutinizing federal spending and determining how your tax dollars are spent.

Steve Stivers

Steve Stivers is currently serving his fifth term as a Member of Congress and represents Ohio’s 15th Congressional District, which is made up of 12 counties including, all of Clinton, Fairfield, Hocking, Madison, Morgan, Perry, Pickaway, and Vinton counties, and parts of Athens, Fayette, Franklin, and Ross counties.

Stivers has served on the Financial Services Committee throughout his time in Congress, which oversees the banking, insurance, real estate, public and assisted housing, and securities industries. The Committee also reviews housing and consumer protection legislation and has jurisdiction over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Federal Reserve Bank.

Anthony Gonzalez
